SF Punk Renaissance Opening Night Extravaganza at Public Works on September 23 from 6:00pm- Midnight!
It’s a celebration for all the senses at the Opening Night Party! Tunnel Vision, the Punk Photography Exhibit, opens in the Roll Up Gallery and we’ll be taking over Public Works for the night! Punk Photography, Art, Flyers, Rare Punk Films, Live Music with Gimme Danger, and an early era punk dance party! Check out the gallery show in the Roll Up Gallery(open 9/23-10/2), peruse the one day massive punk photography, flyer, and art show hung throughout the venue, view rare punk films(including the recently unearthed Deaf Club films) and dance to live music with Gimme Danger and early era punk spun by our in house DJ Bryan James.
Featuring iconic punk photographers from Richard Alden Peterson, Sue Brisk, Joe Truck, Vince Anton, Kamera Zie, and George Sera to Jack Johnson, and Ruby Ray. Collage work by Erich Brogger, Jeff Raphael and others.
Rare punk films include works by Mark Huestis, Bobby Castro, Bruce Geduldig, Joe Target Rees, Starling Cinema, and rare 16mm Babeth Mondini VanLoo
A couple food trucks will be swinging by to help curb the appetites, if you’ve never tried Frozen Kuhstard, you are in for an old school treat!
